Michael B. Goldstein, MAI

Michael B. Goldstein is the Principal and founder of Goldstein Valuation, a commercial appraisal and valuation consulting firm with a market area that includes the State of Maryland, the District of Columbia, Northern Virginia, State of Florida, and Southern Delaware. He specializes in performing appraisal and valuation consulting assignments for apartment complexes, office, flex, warehouse, raw and developed land, retail shopping centers and malls, mixed-use town centers, transit oriented developments, gas stations, retail pad sites, condominium projects, military bases, government buildings, and subdivision analysis. He prepares valuations and market studies on proposed, partially completed, renovated, and existing structures. His appraisal assignments have been made for mortgage financing, asset valuation, litigation, disposition, and due diligence support. Prior to starting Goldstein Valuation, LLC, Mr. Goldstein was a co-founder of Hlubb & Goldstein Valuation Group, LLC, where he was a Principal for more than five years. In addition, Michael was an Associate Director for Integra Realty Resources – Washington, DC for five years. Mr. Goldstein has earned his MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute.

​Mr. Goldstein was the President of the Maryland Chapter of the Appraisal Institute in 2013 and 2014. Prior to being Chapter President, Michael served as the Chapter's Vice President and Regional Representative. In addition, Michael continues to be a member of the Appraisal Institute's National Education Committee. Mr. Goldstein received his Master of Science in Real Estate from the Johns Hopkins University. He received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Maryland.
